In "What Happens When Women Say Yes to God", Lysa says:
"..radical blessing is not that radical. It is really biblical obedience - but we've strayed so far from biblical obedience that it now seems radical. In today's society, it is radical to obey God's commands, listen to the Holy Spirit's convictions, and walk in Jesus' character. But we will never experience the radical blessings that God has in store for us without radical obedience. It is the road that leads to blessing. It is what happens WHEN WOMEN SAY YES TO GOD"
I have come to realize that people do think you are "radical", strange, weird, or extreme if you choose to obey God & follow Him. Even church going people who claim that they are Christians - following God- think down on us for choosing to keep our children away from some things of the world.
"Obedience is more than just "not sinning". It is having the overwhelming desire to walk in the center of God's will at every moment."
The Bible tells us that "we have all sinned and come of the glory of God"(Romans 6:23) We all make mistakes but desiring to follow God and walk according to His will means that we will will make mistakes but we will turn from those mistakes, ask for God's forgiveness and continue to say "yes" to God.
Are you longing for a closer walk with God? What is stopping you or holding you back?
