Salmon & Dillilah Casserole
(from Crazy Plates Cookbook)
5 c. uncooked shell pasta (have used half rotini/half shells in the picture)
1 can mushroom soup
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. shredded cheese
1 1/2 T. dill 2 t. lemon juice
1/2 t. dry mustard powder
1/4 t. black pepper
1 can salmon, drained
1 T. parsley
1T. parmesan cheese
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, rinse with cold water.
- In large saucepan, combine soup, milk, cheese, dill, lemon juice, mustard powder & pepper. Cook over medium high until cheese is melted. Stir in salmon.
- Pour sauce over shells in a 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese & parsley.
- Cover & bake at 350* for 20 minutes. Remove cover & bake 5 minutes more.
I have used tuna in place of the salmon but prefer the salmon(bones out).
